Sociology Minor

Minor Requirements

A minor in sociology requires the successful completion of five courses in the discipline. Students must prepare and register a minor plan in consultation with a faculty member in the department.

Students are encouraged to complete all courses in the department, but may apply a maximum of 4 credits from a faculty supervised internship (SOCI 624 ), independent project (SOCI 614 ), or study abroad programs toward fulfilling the course requirements of the minor.
