Art Minor

A minor in Art includes two areas of emphasis, Art History or Studio Art, each requiring five courses distributed as follows:

Art History Emphasis

Five courses as follows:

Two (2) of the following: ART 160 , ART 161
Two (2) art history elective courses at 200- and 300- level distributed across different art historical periods and areas;
One (1) studio course from ART 130 , ART 131 , ART 230 , ART 233 , ART 234 , ART 235 , ART 236 , ART 239 , ART 267 , ART 330 , or ART 332 .

Topics courses may be considered, with prior approval.

Five courses as follows:

ART 130 ;
One (1) from: ART 230 , ART 233 , ART 234 , ART 236 , ART 239 , ART 330 , or ART 332 ;
One (1) from: ART 131 , ART 235 , ART 238 , or ART 267 ;
One (1) additional elective Studio Art course (any level);
One (1) Art History course.
