Theater and Dance Major

Major Requirements

The Theater and Dance major consists of 36 credits. With prior approval, one transfer course or one study abroad course may be used toward the major.

One Introductory course from the following:

THDA 105 - Seeing Performance in the Twin Cities 
THDA 112 - Reading Plays  
THDA 113 - The Power of the Dancing Body

THDA 245 - Performance Histories and Theories: From the Historical Avant-Garde to the Present  
THDA 221 - Dance Composition  or THDA 350 - Directing for the Stage
