HISP 425 - Dictators, Revolutions and Insurrections Modern Hispanic cultural production in response to dictators, revolutions, and socio-political repression was varied and pointed. Students read a variety of contemporary authors and analyze how they represent social realities in discourse that reflects and informs societal changes. This course satisfies the Area 2 requirement for the Hispanic & Latin American Studies major. Offered occasionally. Prerequisite(s): HISP 307 or consent of the instructor. (4 Credits)
