PE 16 - Yoga II


This course integrates the core principles of Hatha Yoga-physical postures and breath work-to foster recovery, enhance performance, and promote overall physical well-being. Each session focuses on therapeutic sequences that release tension, improve mobility, and support balanced strength and flexibility. Classes begin with centering breath work to cultivate mindful awareness, followed by a series of guided postures and movements that gently warm up the body and target areas of common strain. Modifications and props are incorporated throughout to ensure safe, personalized alignment for all levels of experience. A structured cool-down phase allows time for the body to integrate the practice and restore equilibrium. Whether you’re looking to prevent injury, recover from physical exertion, or simply explore a mindful movement practice, join us in a supportive, non-competitive space where your individual needs and limitations are respected. Please inform the instructor of any physical concerns so your practice can be appropriately tailored. Anyone can take this class, regardless if you have taken Yoga I. Not repeatable for credit.
