PHIL 316 - Metaethics

Thinking systematically about right and wrong often leads to meta-questions–questions about what ethics itself is. What makes a person’s life worth living? Why should I be ethical? Can we convince bad people to be good? Is ethics objective? What does it even mean to ask whether ethics is objective? This class concerns those questions, and others. Prerequisite(s): PHIL 121   Alternate years. (4 Credits)
