ECON 277 - Money and Banking The course provides an introduction to financial markets, the banking system, monetary theory and policy, and financial crises. Our approach combines empirics and modeling to understand the importance of monetary policy over the aggregate economy, the banking sector, and financial markets. This course counts as a Group E elective. Prerequisite(s): ECON 119 or ECON 129 . C- or higher required for all prerequisites. Alternate years. (4 Credits)
