THDA 350 - Directing and Devising: Making Meaning on the Stage


You want to learn how to be a theater director?  Students in this course will have hands on experience at developing directing skills that include composition, visual and textual storytelling, staging, script analysis, vocabulary, creative collaboration, casting, and communication practices.  The first part of the semester will be focused on composition and non-textual storytelling and the second half will be creating a theatrical work based on a dramatic text. Prerequisite(s):  THDA 120 , THDA 125  and THDA 235 , or permission of the instructor Every spring. (4 Credits)
