THDA 250 - Experiential Anatomy and the Mind Body Connection Through reading, writing, research, hands-on exercises, and structured movement activities, this course will explore the body’s design and function of the respiratory, musculo-skeletal, skin, and organ systems. We will use dance and the Alexander technique as tools to cultivate direct knowledge of anatomy and alignment. This course is designed to integrate scientific models of anatomy and one’s lived experience of body and movement. We will also practice mindfulness meditation. The emphasis is on embodied exploration. Every spring. (4 Credits)
