ENGL 351 - 20th Century Dramatic Literature

Study of the development of modern drama from Ibsen to the present by reading and discussion of the major late nineteenth century and twentieth century European and American dramatists such as August Strindberg, Henrik Ibsen, Anton Chekhov, Federico Garcia Lorca, Eugene O’Neill, Samuel Beckett, Lillian Hellman, and August Wilson. Prerequisite(s): one 100-level ENGL course. Alternate years. (4 Credits)
