ENGL 313 - Literature in the Age of Shakespeare Study of major works of the English Renaissance by Shakespeare, Edmund Spenser, Christopher Marlowe, Philip Sidney, Ben Jonson, and other poets and dramatists, with special attention to the work done by categories of gender, sexuality, and class in the period’s explorations of literary and dramatic genres. Prerequisite(s): one 100-level ENGL course. Offered alternate years. (4 Credits)
