. Three class hours per week plus two hours of tutorial. Fall semester. Prerequisite(s): This course is appropriate for students who are strongly self-motivated. High intermediate or advanced skills in Spanish or another Romance language, or previous work in Portuguese, will prove particularly helpful to the student. Exceptions to these guidelines may be made with the instructor’s consent. (5 Credits)
